Venus was born in El Salvador and arrived in Australia with her mother at the age of seven. They came with a small bag of toys and a few clothes, no English, and no support network. To make ends meet, Venus worked alongside her mother cleaning apartment buildings before school each morning — carrying the cleaning supplies between jobs on foot, because the family couldn't afford a car. She learned English before her mother did, and quickly became the one who spoke to landlords, teachers, and shopkeepers on the family's behalf.
That early life shaped everything that followed: a work ethic that doesn't switch off, a maturity beyond her years, and an instinct for advocacy that runs through everything she does today. Venus has built a broad career since — in banking, bookkeeping, health research, tax accounting, and real estate — but the through line is the same. She turns up, she does the work, and she looks after the people in front of her.
Today Venus is co-founder and Licensee of Monarca Property Group, and the face of the business across both sales and property management. She brings over sixteen years of tax accounting experience to her real estate work — including her current role as a tax consultant with Wealth Creation Accountants — and has been in real estate since 2015. It's a rare combination, and it's the reason her clients receive something most agencies cannot offer: a single trusted advisor who understands both the property transaction and the financial picture that surrounds it. For investors, that means guidance not just on managing a property but on managing it well — with an eye to tax position, long-term return, and strategy. Venus has always believed in giving freely of her expertise, and many of her clients have come to rely on her as their first call long before a transaction is on the horizon.
Venus is also deeply committed to being a positive force for women in real estate — an industry she has worked in long enough to know what it needs more of, and what it needs less of. She and her husband Scott built Monarca for their daughter, in the hope that the agency she might one day inherit looks a little more like the industry deserves to be.
